Banks' Law: Just when you think you have thought of everything, something you took for granted will bite you in the ass.

First Corollary to Banks' Law:
Never take anything for granted. It takes work to lift up a rock and re-examine the facts.

Second Corollary to Banks' Law:
All things considered, if it looks alright then there is something you haven't examined.

Third Corollary to Banks' Law:
While you are bandaging your bite, someone else is taking the credit for the work you've performed and re-directing your financing.
